Treasures

Patricia Avendaño presents TREASURES, her new Bridal collection or 2009, at the 18th edition of the prestigious Barcelona Bridal Week. She will do so at the Pasarela Gaudí (29 May, 7.30 pm), with the international model Nieves Álvarez and together with creators of the stature of Christian Lacroix, Valentino or Elie Saab.
The company from Vigo, which will be also showcasing its elegant proposals in festive and cocktail wear for the fourth year running, celebrates its eighth birthday as a participant at the Salón NoviaEspaña, the sector's most important Trade Fair in the world, with more than 200 brands.

Her feminine and elegant proposals, well above extraneous trends, revolve, this year, around a single concept: each dress is a magnificent TREASURE.
A prize that wins a woman’s heart not just for its sparkling beauty, but also through the value of its meaning.
Ivory is offset by dashes of silver and gold to build rich fabrics. Every adornment is pure craftwork...

Silver and gold...

lines...

The are simple and elegant, but painstakingly perfect in terms of pattern, making and adornments, the result of Patricia Avendaño's 26 years of experience and prime-quality fabrics (natural silks) from France and Italy.
Long dresses, designed on the basis of a clear idea of volume and proportions, thus extolling woman's body, enhancing its shape to the utmost degree.
All kinds of necklines: ‘halter’, boatneck, for offer the possibility of choosing the most becoming one...

Movement? Reserved for skirts.

Ivory, gold and silver call the tune in the Bridal collection, while the Festive and Ceremonial proposals feature lively colours such as green and red, turquoise and lilac, and the
sure-fire bet of black, although gold and silver have stolen a good part of its thunder.
Large hand-dyed organzine flowers, bows, shawls adorned with frills and sashes are elements which, besides adorning and accompanying the garments, provide hues that contrast with the dresses.
In cloths, silk organzines with polka dots or stripes and sequins complement the striking proposals of the Party wear collection.
