MODERN CRAFT

YOLANCRIS, a company specialized in bridal and evenings wear, presents it's new 2012 collection, MODERN CRAFT, in the Gaudi Novias fashion show. The collection is formed by four sub-collections that are inspired by the 70s: " NEW SUN ", "LUMIÈRE", " BOHEMIAN LUXURY " and the line " LE TRE GRAZIE ".

Collection "NEW SUN"

The Aztecs predicted that in 2012 the world as we know it will come to an end and give way to beginning of a new age, the new Sun.

Like the Sun, this ethnic and tribal goddess rises from the stones, corals, turquoises and gold above the blue sky and manifests her unique power and personal sheen with tulles, skins, feathers and colorful silks. The collection with clear hippie attitude joins the mystical spirit with modernism, the philosophies of east with those of west.

Collection "LUMIÈRE"

At the beginning of the last century, the brothers Lumière created the first cinematograph. With this innovative and original idea they have become pioneers in what is known today as the Seventh art form.

The mute cinema, the jazz music of the 20s, the Bohemian way of life and vintage, inspiration by the classics, the preference for the new, originality and innovation fill up this collection with extraordinary creations based on mixtures of patchworks with crochet, macramé, applications of wood, nets, laces, etc.

Collection "BOHEMIAN LUXURY"

Bohemian lifestyle of the 70s in New York, rock'n'roll, art and hippie scenery, which were flooding the lofts of Manhattan.

The collection is defined by pure seduction and distinction weaved with exquisite combination of silks, guipures, tulles, crochets, and patchworks of lace, which like a rhapsody of lights that mixes hippie style of the 70s with eminence of the Bohemian luxury.

Collection "LE TRE GRAZIE"

The Graces, in the Greek mythology, are the three goddesses of the happiness, the enchantment and the beauty. Daughters of Zeus and the nymph Eurínome, they were deities that personified the Grace, the Beauty and the Fertility.

As if descending from one of the most famous painting by the Ruben himself, the styles in this collection dress goddesses in light fabrics and embroidered guipures, decorated with feathers and jewelry applications. Sophisticated luxury, ethereal elegance, pure beauty, subtle grace and exquisite glamour conspire among themselves as if evoked by a mythological legend itself.
